Pane’ Rustica is a wholesale and retail bakery and restaurant specializing in the traditional, hearth babreads of Italy and France.
We are a scratch bakery. Most of our breads are made with only flour, water, salt, and sourdough cultures (the “wild” yeasts) or “poolish” starters. As a result, they are wholesome as well as tasty. This olde world style of bread baking creates an extremely flavorful bread with a distinctive texture and crispy crust.
All of the flour in our breads is unbleached and unbromated. We add no dough improvers or conditioners or preservatives of any kind.
